Electronic signatures in Italy
The CAD sets simple, advanced, and qualified electronic signatures beside eIDAS. The level you need depends on the document.
The framework
Legislative Decree 82/2005 is the Italian digital administration code. A simple electronic signature can be used for many private agreements. Qualified signatures carry a stronger legal effect.
Enterprise includes QES for Europe. Essential and Pro do not.
The completion record
A standard inSigner signature is an electronic signature with a completion record. It is not a qualified electronic signature. QES and the AATL check are Enterprise options.
The record connects the document hash, the people invited, and the completion events. It does not replace a notarization, a wet-ink statute, or advice from your counsel.
